One of the chief advantages of e-books and e-readers is the ability to look up words "on the fly" so to speak w/o going after a dictionary or lexicon. How wonderfully useful that would have been to me when making my way through the Master and Commander series the first time.

I saw this news the other day and was so happy to hear it. Though I own all of the Aubrey/Maturin series on dead trees, no doubt I will end up buying the e-books as well. Love my Kindle's highlighting feature as well as the dictionary, particularly useful when reading PoB.

Thanks for that reference!

Just in time for vol. 1 for Christmas. I shall order one from SWIMBO.
