I finished reading the long series of the adventures of Aubrey and Maturin. It was a fascinating read, engaging. The two main characters are well described, with strengths and weaknesses, the book is well documented historically.
But there are so many secondary characters that I liked a lot and that each should continue the story. What you liked most? why?
Pullings, Babbington, Reade, Bonden, Killick, Sophia, Diana, Clarissa ...

One of my favorite secondary characters was Kilick mainly due to how clearly his character was drawn with just a few short descriptions. The humor in this series really sets it apart from other naval series I've read.
