Seaforth Publishing have a series that is modernisation of various original memoires by people who served at sea in the 17/1800's. So far they have released Galley Slave, A Privateer’s Voyage around the World, Slaver Captain and Landsman Hay. Still to come are Life of a Sailor and Whale Hunter.
