There are 16 books in the series and hence a lot of battles. I think you would need to be a bit more specific scratch

ooops. i was so taken up in the book that i did not mention that it was book 2 artemis. it kind of rmeinds me of hornblower after he left his first ship which was very unhappy experience and then went aboard the indefatigable ( if i remember right). anyway, im thoroughly enjoying my new discovery of kydd
