Re: Eighteen Twelve (1812)
Recently announced by author Julian Stockwin:
The 24th book in author Stockwin's Kydd series will be titled Thunderer.
It appears that recently returned from the Baltic, Kydd is bestowed an honored (?) promotion to the fabled 74.
As any professional military officer knows well, Promotion can be a 'double edged sword' and 'the people make the Command', which in this case 'is not a happy one'.
Thunderer should arrive in mid-Fall 2021 and 'collector sets' are now available for reservation at the authors website.

Just finished it. Better than the last one, pretty entertaining read. Glad that Kydd was put into a new ship, the scenario with Tyger had gotten a bit tedious. Looking forward to the next installment!

The 'collector's edition' of book #24 (Thunderer is out there and available to read, so the standard edition shouldn't be far behind.
