Seawolf warning
I have exchanged a few emails with the author and apparently there were problems with an earlier version of this work
It was first issued by Broadside Press as “The Seawolf” and to quote the author "This book was the reason for a lawsuit against Broadsides press for such shoddy/poor work. The book was a disaster with entire paragraphs missing and placed in different areas where it didn’t belong, sentences left unfinished and gross error in editing plus the book was sent to the printer without my review or approval. I was able to regain my rights and was soon picked up by a new publisher. The new publisher cleaned up most of the mistakes made by Broadsides and the book was renamed HMS SeaWolf and released in 2008. It was my understanding that all the copies of The SeaWolf had been pulled off the market. I have replaced the copies that were purchased out of my pocket from those that have contacted me along with an apology. "
So if you see a version titled 'The Seawolf' don't buy it (some are available from resellers on Amazon) only buy 'HMS Seawolf'

Re: Seawolf warning
Yes, the title of the book I bought was HMS Seawolf, so I do seem to have avoided the defective one.
Has the author seen my review? Is that his response to it?

No he hasn't logged into the forum yet, he just noted that an old version appeared among the Amazon listings I use so enlightened me.
