Non Fiction works
James L. Nelson is of course also the author of non-fiction works.
This thread is just a cross reference for postings in the gunroom.

Re: Non Fiction works
Wish I'd read this "before" launching into American HNF, as it gives an insight into just how "close run" the birth of the American Navy as well as the infant republic was. If you're an American history buff, you'll find the names of the "movers & shakers" of the Revolution here as well as individual incidents that could have gone either way. It took a man of Washington's daring to sponsor this gamble.....but at the time it was near to being his only hope at sustaining his army's combat capability.
I consider it a worthy addition to my HFN library's as part of my historical reference section.
